LT should use more Old Spice

So if you watched any of the patriots vs chargers game you are probably well aware of the fact that Ladainian Tomlinson sat out most of the game. In fact he finished with just 2 carries 5 yards and 1 catch for 1 yard. While LT did have a sprained MCL coming into the game; the fact that he sat out most of what would eventually become their last game of the season was obviously going to raise eyebrows. What perturbed me the most was how Rivers was out there with a torn ACL risking it all for the team. Actually turns out Rivers had arthroscopic knee surgery before the game and will need further surgery this off season to repair the ACL. This surgery will most likely ruin his off season training and may potentially put his status for week 1 in question. Furthermore, LT isn't even going to need surgery in the off season. Why is it that Rivers was willing to put his career in danger but LT wasn't? I think the most ridiculous part of all this was how LT sat on the sidelines with his helmet on the whole time, like he was going to come back in or something. I dont really care what Tomlinson has to say about this because this was one of the most selfish moves I've seen in a long time. The only thing I can say is that LT should probably try to use more old spice, so that he can look more like this guy...

At the game, none of us could even find LT on the sidelines. I was only 20 or so rows up, and couldn't find him. While watching practice, he seemed to be stretching, running, and jumping just fine - I was actually slightly nervous seeing him/Rivers/Gates all looking pretty healthy. I actually thought LT had gone back into the locker room or something - when I was listening to all the talk radio on the way home, they said he was scratched due to a "coach's decision". I've seen cats less of a p**** than that guy.

no swearing on my message boards...

seriously though, good perspective from the game. The cameras were all over him so I'm surprised you couldn't see him. He was probably camo-ed with his black visor and all...

haha sorry for the language, I thought the stars made it deceptive enough to be OK. I'll refrain from choice words in the future.

But ya, it was real hard to find him! We were behind the SD bench - if he was sitting, that would have made it tough to see his name? Other than that, not sure how we couldn't see him.

Also, another great thing I noticed was that for the first 3 quarters, the Bolts sideline was all jumping and cheering the whole time, they were all so pumped about almost winning. By the 4th quarter, the bolts looked more like the sparkplugs, with most of them just standing around, sitting, and definitely not cheering.

Also, Norv blew the game with his choice to punt. The stands were going crazy when we saw SD punting from the THIRTY SIX YARD LINE!! seriously, what was he thinking? Last I checked, the Pats scored 500+ points this season. Just cause they had only scored 21 so far, doesn't mean they don't have a potent offense. What a blatantly terrible coaching blunder. Second this season only to Billick's sideline calling some good timeouts.
